Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I register for the The 2017 Torch Relay for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals! online?
    • Go to the "register" button and choose your city or the Virtual Participant option. You will be guided through the registration process. Once your transaction is complete, you will receive a confirmation email receipt.
  • Do I need to join a team to register?
    • Not at all. While there is an option to start a team or join a team if you would like to get your friends, family and co-workers together, many participants join as individuals.
  • The website does not list the location for my event. When will this info be available?
    • Because the details for local events can sometimes change due to circumstances beyond our control, not all of the event locations can be posted in advance. However, the specific location for each city will be posted no later than 45-days prior to the event. You will also receive an email confirmation to confirm your specific meeting time and location at least two weeks in advance.
  • Is my information secure?
    • Yes. Blackbaud has made every effort to protect your information. We use industry-standard SSL encryption techniques to make sure that your credit card information, passwords, and personal information travel securely over the Internet. We have also installed an encryption engine on our database server so that your data is securely stored.
  • Can friends and family make a donation to a Participant by going through the main website?
    • Yes. On the home page of the website for the participant's city, friends and family can locate a Participant by clicking on the "Sponsor Participant" button. By typing in the name of the Participant, they will be directed to the Participant's personalized pledge page.
  • How can I see who has donated to me?
    • Go to the Log-in section on the site. Use the Username and Password that you received when you registered for the event. You can then view your Donor list and the amounts that have been donated.

    • Remember that your username and password are case sensitive. Click the Forgot Username/Password link at the bottom of the Login In page. You will receive an email with your username and password.

  • How much money do I need to raise in order to participate?
    • We do ask that all participants raise at least $40 to help support their local CMN Hospital.
  • I have a disability, am I still able to participate?
